As the latest addition to the Audi SUV range, the Q2 is the smallest model in the line and will take on the compact SUV market with a premium edge.
This latest version will be available in four trim levels in its first guise, with three engine options available with either a manual or automatic gearbox. With the SE, Sport, S Line and Edition #1 trims, all of the models will come with progressive steering, Audi smartphone interface and pre-sense front system with pedestrian recognition as standard.
Other great features that will be available to the Q2 include the award-winning virtual cockpit system, Audi phone box – a wireless charging platform for your mobile – and side assist driving aid. The different trim levels also come with different size alloys, with the SE coming with 16-inch rims and the top end Edition #1 coming with 19-inch alloys.
At launch, the Q2 can be fitted with a 1.4 TFSI 148hp petrol engine, a 114hp 1.6 TDI diesel and a 150hp 2.0 TDI diesel, with all able to be fitted with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed S tronic automatic gearbox. An entry-level 1.0 TFSI petrol unit will also be available soon after the launch.
Currently, the Audi Q2 is available from £22,380, but following the introduction of the 1.0-litre petrol unit, the Q2 will be offered from £20,230.
