The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a traditional and opportune place to display the latest and greatest in the motoring industry. At this year’s event, Audi showed off nine of its upcoming models to show how the brand’s line-up will look in the coming months.
Headlining the set was the new R8 Spyder, with its V10 upgraded to produce 540PS and take it to a top speed of 197mph. Alongside was the newest model in the Audi range, the Q2, which is the smallest SUV Audi now produces. With a bold and forward-looking design, the Q2 combines the latest in Audi technology and practicality, despite the smaller size.
Also on hand was the powerful SQ7 TDI – which packs a 435PS punch to fight alongside 900Nm of torque – and the A4 Allroad, which takes the superb base of the A4, WhatCar's Car of the Year, and adds more rugged off-roading ability.
Introduced just a month ago, the S5 Coupé was also present alongside the 400PS TT RS Coupé, which has the new five-cylinder engine, and the Q7 e-tron, which is one of the leading models in the PHEV SUV market.
To round off the display was the new range of A3 models, which is available to order in the Saloon, Sportback or Cabriolet body shapes, and continues on the fantastic heritage that the previous 20 years of the A3 have produced.
Goodwood also gave the opportunity to show off the limited edition R8 selection 24h, the S1 quattro E2 Group B competition car and the Audi V8 DTM model, rounding off an impressive selection of vehicles from Audi.
