Audi begins deliveries of A4 Avant

As part of the family that produced the WhatCar? Car of the Year, the A4 Avant brings many of the great features from the award-wining Saloon, and adds space to make it even more practical.

Adding to the versatile nature of the saloon, the Avant adds boot space to the already expansive base, with 505 litres of luggage capacity, and an extra 1,005 litres added when the seats are folded down, making the Avant a class leader in space.

Audi begins deliveries of A4 Avant

With 13 engine and gearbox combinations to choose from, you will be able to find the right A4 Avant for you, with a range of fuel-injected, turbocharged petrol TFSI engines, TDI and TDI ultra diesels, and our V6 TDI diesel fitted to the most powerful cars in the Avant class.

Fitted as standard throughout the Avant range is Audi’s new infotainment system, which uses both Apple CarPlay and Android compatibility to help make the car as ‘smart’ as your smartphone. With Audi’s Multimedia Interface (MMI), you can access your phone’s features, such as making phone calls, sending messages and accessing your music via either voice command or using the click wheel in the central column.

Also included is Audi’s new Virtual cockpit, which has removed the traditional analogue dials in the instrument display and replaced them with a multifunctional digital display that can change the dials in accordance to the driver’s preference.

On some of the models, the legendary quattro all-wheel drive is included to help give you as much confidence on the road as possible and along with some of Audi’s latest driver aids can help keep your drive safe and efficient. Included on the Avant as standard is the new predictive efficiency assistant, which can reduce fuel consumption by 10 per cent and alert the driver where to reduce speed.
