A5 Cabriolet Driver Aids
Everything where it should be
The A5 cabin puts some premium luxury cars to shame with its level of refinement, attention to detail and superb finish. And, as you would expect from Audi, the instrumentation is the embodiment of clarity. Thanks to the cockpit's ergonomics, your hand falls naturally to the control you need. It all helps to create an instinctive, intuitive and satisfying driving experience.
The Driver's Information System
The Driver's Information System (DIS) is a large, clear digital display in the centre of the instrument panel. It provides a range of information - from the outside temperature to the estimated range possible with the current amount of fuel. The DIS comes with a colour display as standard on SE and S line models
Drive in comfort
Adjustments on the driver's seat and steering wheel help you find your perfect driving position. The intuitive switches for adjusting the seats are conveniently located on the side on the seat.
Seats four comfortably
The A5 Cabriolet offers practical comfort as well as style. Whether the roof is up or down, there is generous head and legroom in the cabin to sit four adults comfortably. This is due to the fabric hood taking up less space than a conventional hard top when folded.
Leather seats with heat reflection technology
With the solar-heat reflecting leather seats, you can drive in style and keep your cool. Due to a special colour pigmentation, the leather is prevented from getting extremely hot when in strong sunlight and the surface temperature can be reduced by up to 20 °C below an untreated seat. Seats are available in Alcantara, Milano and Fine Nappa leather and standard on SE and S line models.
Stay in lane
The optional Audi lane assist helps prevent you from drifting out of your chosen lane. A tiny image recognition camera watches the lane markings on either side. If you veer too far right or left, the system knows you're in danger and vibrates the steering wheel to alert you. If you change lanes using your indicators, the system knows that's safe and temporarily switches itself off.
