Google Earth, the interactive, three-dimensional atlas of the world, is now available in-car. For the first time ever, Audi has brought the internet to a built-in navigation system, for user-friendly graphics and a wide range of features. The audio system also benefits from internet connectivity and an innovative music-selection system.
The high-resolution display and photorealistic 3D maps provide a new dimension in navigation. ‘Bird’s eye’ views are easy to recognise and rich in detail. There is no longer any need to enter an address by hand. Just click on an image in Google Earth and go. And in the near future, the internet will make it possible for route planning to take account of traffic and weather information.
Bang & Olufsen lead the way in technical and acoustic sound quality. The Audi Cross Cabriolet quattro® system is no exception. An innovative internet radio provides access to countless radio stations around the world. Rate tracks by the touch of a button and, over time, the system learns which music you prefer.
An intercom system removes the need to raise your voice, in particular when driving with the top down. Four microphones pick up the speakers’ voices and relay them at a subtly amplified volume via the vehicle’s audio system. The sound processor filters out background noise to give an extremely natural voice reproduction |
